Sleep well; it’s your Wedding!
Weddings are the most hectic and tensed time of your life. You are per-occupied with so many thoughts at one single moment that it gets difficult to concentrate on yourself completely. It being your wedding, you have a long list of to-dos. Usually it is seen that among the race of completing your tasks, your sleep is compromised the most. Whereas, I feel it is one essential part of your routine and must be taken care of especially if you are seeking some natural glow before your wedding day. • Create a sleep schedule
In our school days, our mothers were very particular about our sleep patterns and therefore, we had a proper routine set up for everything and included sleep too. Similarly, set up a sleep timetable and make sure you follow it religiously. I suggest, you start with the routine at least 3 weeks prior your wedding day for best results.
• Get adequate sun light
Make sure you see the sun everyday for at least 15 minutes in the morning. This is because the UV rays in the morning are really good for charging you up for the entire day.
• Exercise regularly
People who work out on daily basis have a higher quality of sleep as exercising helps to reduce your daily stress and keeps you fit.
• Say no to caffeine
You should avoid taking caffeine especially after 4 pm because that is what might make you uncomfortable when you go to bed. Intake of caffeine affects your sleep ability as well as sleep quality.
• Put off your gadgets
You just might have been lucky to enter into sleep and then your phone beeps and you are awake to check who it is. Gadgets might disturb your sleep and mostly for insignificant reasons. So keep all your gadgets away before you set to bed.
• Have a bath
After a hectic day, it is important to relax your body. You can have a nice warm water bath and can add few drops of lavender to it, to have a nice soothing and relaxing body.
• Listen to some music
It might happen that due to over tiredness you might be unable to sleep. Listening to some nice slow music can help you with this. You can also download some relaxing music that will reduce your anxiety levels.
